Sunday Morning Service – 10:30am to 11:30am

The Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy are our only preachers. Together they serve as Pastor over our church.

If you’re attending a Christian Science church service for the first time, there are many elements which will be familiar to you — hymns, prayer, readings from the Bible, a warm sense of fellowship. One unique feature is that we don’t have personal preachers or pastors conducting the services. Instead, two lay readers conduct services that are based on lessons made up of passages from the Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures and address such topics as God, Christ Jesus, and God the Preserver of Man. Each service concentrates on a central subject. Some of these subjects include: God; Love; Christ Jesus; Man; Are Sin, Disease, and Death, Real?; Probation After Death; and God the Preserver of Man.

All our services begin with singing! Afterward, we hear short readings from the Bible followed by silent prayer, and then we pray aloud the Lord’s Prayer with its spiritual interpretation from the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures.

Then, we sing a hymn, followed by few announcements regarding currents activities.

A solo is sung which relates to the subject of our Weekly Bible Lesson.

Afterward, the Weekly Bible Lesson, which serves as a sermon, is then read from the Bible and “Science and Health”. A collection is taken.

The service is closed with a hymn, short citations, and a benediction.

You are welcome to come early and listen to music, and stay after the service to chat with other members and visitors. Please know that you will never be pressured to join the group, take part, or to take up the study of Christian Science.

Wednesday Evening Service – 7:30pm to 8:30pm
